MOCK EVACUATION 2016

Our Mock Evacuation was a terrific success.  Norfolk Manor staff and residents participated in their annual mock evacuation as part of their ongoing emergency preparedness & training. They conducted a horizontal evacuation of each floor followed by a vertical evacuation of the building. They then took full advantage of the wonderful day and had a BBQ lunch. Things went along smooth and the burgers & shandies on the patio were terrific. Thanks to our health & safety team and the flexibility of our dietary team to pull this of.. Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

Thank you to our AMAZING VOLUNTEERS who share their talents with all of us — we have musicians, artists, storytellers, card players and crafters who brighten our days and touch our lives. We are so grateful for all that they do. Tonight was a night to celebrate & say thank you at a lovely garden BBQ hosted by David Ing & Lynda Murray. A special thanks to Dawn Sunderland Keating for planning the event and Tammy Engelage for catering. Such a wonderful evening! ( More pics on facebook)
